Aisha Ali
I am pleased to be assisting others with the process of embracing change. I discovered in my practice that psychotherapy combined with other disciplines bring effective results helping people to open their hearts to accept love and the capacity to heal from self and others.
Aisha Ali is the founder of Living from The Heart. With over 25 years of clinical experience working with couples, individuals, and groups, Aisha uses an integrative approach that combines Eastern and Western methods to help clients gain insight and recover from conflict. She offers support and challenges to help clients build skills and develop tools to maintain and repair a loving relationship, whether as an individual or a couple. UKCP and UKAHPP accredit her. She works with diverse issues, with individuals, couples and groups, including young people and children, using energy-based Psychotherapy and creative mediums to provide emotional, spiritual and therapeutic support.

The central themes of Aisha’s work are transformation and healing through the creative process. She has a Community Drama, Theatre for Development, and Dramatherapy background, which informs her work as a psychotherapist. Her Psychotherapy training background includes Integrative Humanistic Counseling and Integrative Psychotherapy training at The School of Counseling and Psychotherapy based at The Whittington NHS Hospital.
Aisha has extensive couples therapy training, including – Gestalt couples therapy training with Joseph Zinker, Dramatherapy Training at Roehampton Institute, Trauma reduction training with Babette Rothchild, and Psychosexual therapy training with the Centre for Psychosexual Development.
With a profound appreciation of how different spiritual practices and traditions fit together to form a healing modality, Aisha has a deep grounding and understanding of models and approaches in Psychotherapy, meditation, energy work, and divine spiritual experiences. Living from The Heart was created in 2004 after a journey which left an impression on Aisha. She experienced a profound shift and realisation that part of her work was to help people live a more conscious life, using the wisdom of the mind and heart to heal and empower their relationships.
Aisha brings to her practice and approaches an appreciation of the healing power of creativity, myth, ritual, and play. She has a long-standing interest and training in Shamanic and Pranic healing, Chi Kung, and Yoga, which fuels her interest in working with energy, creativity, and life force (chi, prana, kundalini).
She works intuitively, using energy healing to explore and expand clients’ understanding of themselves and others. When clients start to engage in deep healing, all areas of their lives are affected, and their journey often leads them into unknown and uncharted territory for which they need a guide and a map.
Aisha offers a rich blend of Mind/Body and energy healing tools to activate and strengthen the body’s innate ability to transform illness and regain balance. She helps clients connect or reconnect with their spiritual nature/essence. All true healing is about transformation. The transmission of spiritual energy is the heart of energy healing that occurs instantly. The process of healing from trauma or dis-ease is complex. Aisha commits to the healing process, as do her clients; this is essential to the work.
She is currently working on a book.
