Begin with a conversation
You will be working with Aisha Ali, a UKCP-registered, UKAHPP-accredited psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience in couples and psychosexual therapy. I integrate Imago Relationship Therapy, developmental couples work, Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal-informed therapy, Somatic Experiencing and Body Psychotherapy, held within a trauma-informed and ethically grounded frame.
Many of the couples I work with are creatives, founders, therapists and professionals: thoughtful and capable in the rest of their lives, and less sure how to bring that presence into intimacy. This is not a scripted curriculum. It is a carefully attuned process, paced to what you can genuinely take in and carry home.
Testimonials
“We came to the intensive feeling like we were on the brink. Aisha held us with such grace and insight — we left with tools, understanding, and a renewed sense of love. This experience was nothing short of transformational.”
— R. & J., London
“The depth of healing that happened in just one weekend surpassed years of talking therapy. Aisha’s approach is profound, sacred, and entirely human.”— T., Therapist & Partner, Sussex
What if we're not sure we want to stay together?
That’s perfectly okay. Many couples come unsure about the future. The retreat doesn’t assume a particular outcome; it offers clarity, emotional honesty and compassionate exploration, so decisions can be made from a grounded place.
What if we've already tried couples therapy?
A retreat offers a level of focus, presence and integration that weekly therapy often can’t. Many couples say one weekend shifted more than years of sessions.
What happens if emotions become overwhelming?
This work is trauma-informed and held with care. You’ll be supported with grounding tools, somatic awareness and compassionate guidance, and the process is paced for safety, not overwhelm.
