I am pleased to be assisting others with the process of embracing change. I discovered in my practice that psychotherapy combined with other disciplines bring effective results helping people to open their hearts to accept love and the capacity to heal from self and others.
I maintain a Psychotherapy and Counselling practice in the UK, London. I am a Humanistic integrative Psychotherapist and psychosexual therapist, supervisor. I am a Member of BACP, I am accredited by UKCP through UKAHPP. I work with a diverse range of issues, with individuals, couples and groups, including young people and children, using energy based Psychotherapy and creative mediums to provide emotional, spiritual and therapeutic support. I have over 20 years clinical experience.
I have worked within the NHS both inpatient and outpatient facilities. Within corporate, statutory and voluntary sectors. I offer Consultancy and training to individuals and a wide variety of organisations. I have worked with various EAP’s, MIND, West Hampstead Women’s Centre, BACP, IAPT, Metanioa, Psychology Works, Victim Support, London Friend, London School of Counselling and Psychotherapy, Bristol University, Birkbeck College, and Roehampton Institute, NHS primary care.
Transformation and healing through the creative process is a central theme of my work. I have a background in Community Drama, Theatre for Development and Dramatherapy which informs my work as a psychotherapist.
My Psychotherapy training background includes Integrative Humanistic Counselling and Integrative Psychotherapy training at The School of Counselling and Psychotherapy based at The Whittington NHS Hospital. I have extensive couples therapy training including – Gestalt couples therapy training with Joseph Zinker, Dramatherapy Training at Roehampton Institute, Trauma reduction training with Babette Rothchild, and Psychosexual therapy training with the Centre for Psychosexual Development.
I have a deep grounding and understanding of models and approaches in Psychotherapy, meditation, energy work and divine spiritual experiences. I have a profound appreciation of how different spiritual practices and traditions fit together as a whole to form a healing modality. This has become Living from The Heart. I have studied, trained and practised with many great spiritual teachers over the last 20 years worldwide in the U.K, South America, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand. I continue to follow a path of spiritual learning and development.
Living from the Heart was created in 2004 after a journey which left an impression on me. I experienced a deep shift and realisation that part of my work was to help people live a more conscious life, using the wisdom of the mind and heart to heal and empower their relationships.
I bring to my practice and approach an appreciation of the healing power of creativity, myth, ritual and play. I have a long standing interest and practice in Shamanic and Pranic healing, Chi Kung and Yoga which fuels my interest in working with energy, creativity and life force (chi, prana, kundalini).
I work intuitively using energy healing to provide an opportunity to explore and expand your understanding of yourself and others. When you start to deeply engage in the process of healing, all areas of your life are affected and your journey often lead you into unknown and uncharted territory for which you need a guide as well as a map.
I offer a rich blend of Mind / Body and energy healing tools to activate and strengthen the body’s innate ability to transform illness and regain balance. To connect or reconnect you with your spiritual nature/essence. All true healing is about transformation.
The transmission of spiritual energy is the heart of energy healing occurs in happens in an instant. The process of healing from trauma or dis – ease is complex. I make a commitment to engage in the healing process as do my clients as this is essential to the work.
I am currently working on a book.
