Practice for today: count the blessings in your life.
Be in a quiet place, stand comfortably with feet spread slightly apart. Take a deep breath, and exhale with a resonant mmm……sound. Bending slightly at the waist reach down with both hands, your hands are facing one another each about 6 inches apart as though you have a small ball between your hands.
Think of something precious in your life, your home, your career, your pet, your relationship with a loved one, your health, your life, take time to count your blessings.
Visualise one of your blessings in your hands. Bring your hands slowly to your heart…..still 6 inches apart, still holding what is precious, exhale deeply. Feel intense love and gratitude for every joyful moment you have spent with what is precious to you. Feel blessed.
Slowly raise your hands above your head, spread your hands apart, and RELEASE your treasure back to the Universe. As you do so, exhale a long steady breath. Feel blessed.
Choose another precious thing in your life and release it. Repeat this for all that is important in your life; pick it up, love it, nurture it, feel blessed, give thanks, and release it.
Do the same exercise for each person that you have ever loved. Hold them, love them, give thanks for them, and then release them back to the Universe.
Release your burdens…..your fears, regrets, guilt, shames, embarrassments, angers. Choose a memory or fear, hold it close, and release it to the Universe. Release each incident from your past that still affects you. Release your fears, your fears about your relationships, your health and your career.
